The priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme 2021–2027 and the European Solidarity Corps are also part of the strategic priorities of DZS – Centre for International Cooperation in Education and play a crucial role in the planning and implementation of all projects. These priorities not only help ensure higher quality and efficiency in international education projects but also contribute to building a more inclusive, digitally skilled, and sustainable Europe. As a key factor in the application evaluation process, these priorities focus on several important areas.

Inclusion and Diversity: Ensuring that the widest possible range of organizations and individuals can participate in international education activities and opportunities.

Digitalisation: Supporting the development of digital competences and skills, assisting organizations in the digital transformation of education, and promoting digital collaboration and learning across sectors.

Environmental Sustainability: Developing competencies that support sustainable growth, raising awareness about the climate crisis, and reducing the carbon footprint of programmes through environmentally friendly travel and practices.

Participation: Encouraging active citizenship, strengthening participation in democratic life, and promoting a stronger sense of European identity.

Each year, DZS – Centre for International Cooperation in Education recognizes outstanding achievements in international education through awards that highlight projects aligned with programme priorities. Examples of these successful initiatives can be found in the publication DZS Awards 2024: The Best of International Education.

For more inspiration and practical ideas on how to reflect these priorities in project applications and activities, readers are encouraged to explore the relevant sections and resources on the official programme website for further details. https://www.dzs.cz/priority
